A Disc-O-Flex coupling (also called disc coupling) is a flexible, high-performance shaft coupling that uses thin, stacked metal discs (disc packs) to transmit torque between two shafts. The disc packs flex to accommodate misalignment while maintaining high torsional stiffness and zero backlash, making them ideal for precision servo, encoder, pump, compressor and motor drives.
